How to Request a Tank Head Quote

Start with the information you have, then make the engineering requirement clear.

01

A simple starting point

Begin with your name, a reply email and a description of the requirement. An existing drawing is useful, but an open technical question can also be a starting point.

02

Add the core engineering information

The following details help connect the enquiry to a defined component.

  • Head shape or a section drawing.
  • Material specification and grade.
  • Diameter with ID or OD basis and units.
  • Thickness basis, profile dimensions and drawing revision.
  • Quantity and any repeat-order context.
03

Identify project-specific requirements

List any applicable design or geometry requirements separately from the material specification and inspection documents.

  • Required inspections and document list.
  • Finish, edge and packing requirements.
  • Delivery country and any trade-term requirements.
  • Questions or dimensions that still need confirmation.
04

Keep the quotation tied to the agreed scope

Price, quantity conditions, production timing, inspection and delivery arrangements need to be addressed in the project quotation. A catalogue example is not a substitute for an agreed commercial offer.

05

After you submit

When enquiry receiving is enabled, a saved confirmation means your requirement was recorded. Email forwarding is a separate notification for follow-up.

An enquiry is not an issued quotation, an order confirmation or an engineering design approval. The project details and supply scope still need to be reviewed.

USEFUL ANSWERS

Before you enquire.

Can I enquire without a finished drawing?

Yes. Describe the head, material, dimensions and questions you already have. Identify missing details so the discussion can focus on what needs to be defined.

Is a product-page price a project quotation?

No. The drawing, material, quantity, inspection and delivery requirements need to be reviewed together for the actual quotation.
